Book Page Leaf Garland
Any old book that you have on hand will work for this project as it s completely customizable.
Book page leaf garland. Trace the leaf on one half of a book page. Tear book pages out being sure to stay as close to the book seam as possible. Just a little twine burlap a few pages from an old book and some clothespins more.
This way you can cut multiple leaves at the same time. Start cutting out your leaves from your book pages. Do this with different leaf shapes and until you have enough leaves.
Using two or three book pages at a time place a leaf template on top of them and cut around the template. For a garland you will need a roll of jute or other connecting string. Small thumbtacks tiny nails or sticky tack.

I finally got around to breaking out the sewing machine today. Jute ribbon or white twine. Lay your leaves out in a well ventilated space.
If you press hard enough you should be able to cut half a dozen leafs at a time. I love how a simple garland can transform a mantel. Group three leaves together and place a hole punch at their stems.
